Today we met as a fam. at the old homestead. We had bbq sandwiches, salads and watermelon [a family favorite!]. We Charlotte brought homemade rootbeer[ the little boys all gathered around to watch the dry ice vapor float over the top like smoke] and homemade ice cream. It was nice to be together. Baby Heidi is darling and smooched by everyone. The Nathan and Catie are very happy and loving their new roles.
It's good to get together and renew family ties and remember what it was like when we were kids. I love summer the pace of life is a litttle more relaxed and the wheather is so great! I love the longer days and the warmer nights. It's a great itme for families to be famlies.
